Sendai is the capital city of Miyagi Prefecture, Japan and it is the largest city in Japan's Tohoku Region. Because of the city's proximity to major fishing ports, it is known for its delicious sushi, sashimi, and sake. The area is also known for a particular spicy miso ramen, becoming famous for its long-life in quality and taste. Beef in Sendai is graded in the top-class, and comes from beef cattle that are raised with sasanishiki rice stalks and barley.
